This Privacy Policy describes how Wise Life Solutions, Co. (“we” or “us”) collects personal information in connection with the ProductWise mobile app, Wise Life Solutions website, and service (“the Service”), and how we use and share that information. 


ProductWise is a mobile app that uses information you provide to us to generate product and/or category lists relevant to you and send you in-app product recall notifications that may be relevant to you. To identify potentially relevant information, we use the information you provide to us to create a profile about you. We also may, if you provide us with permission to access, collect and analyze data from other services about products you purchase. That way, ProductWise can help you determine when those products, or similar ones, are recalled or flagged as dangerous, subject to our Terms of Use, available at https://wiselifesolutions.com/terms-%26-conditions.


What Information We Collect and How We Use It


Our goal is to allow you to monitor the products you own or categories of products that you are interested in monitoring in order to provide you with recall and safety alert notices about said products or categories or other safety information that may be relevant to you. The information that we collect from and about you helps us to better understand you and provide you with more relevant information. 


Contact and Profile Information. When you establish an account with us, we ask you to fill out a profile. We use this information, combined with information about the products you register with us in the app, to identify and deliver relevant product safety information. We also may collect information from you when you contact us through our website, mobile app, or other means. We use this information primarily to contact you.


We allow you to search for or add products in the app by scanning the barcode of the product with the ProductWise app. We will use this information to identify scanned products and deliver relevant recall and/or safety alert notices, and possibly other safety news for you. We also may use this information to let you know about products and services that may be of interest to you.


Device Information. We collect certain information about and from your mobile device, such as information about your mobile device's operating system and unique device identifier. We use this information to better understand you and to improve our mobile app and services.


Browsing Information. We, or a third party such as an analytics provider, may collect information about how you use our services. Such information could include, for example, information about the computer, device, or browser you use to access our Service, and the sites you visit before, during, and after you use our app or visit our site. We collect this information using cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. We use this information to better understand how you use our services and to improve our services. 


Some browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference to the website or online service that a user visits to indicate that the user does not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret Do Not Track signals, we do not currently respond to those signals. How We Share the Information We Collect 


Except as provided below, we will not otherwise sell, share, or disclose information we collect from or about you. 


Vendors and Partners. We may share information with partners and affiliates, with third parties who perform services on our behalf, and as necessary to provide you the Service. For example, we may share information with analytics providers to learn more about you and your use of the Service, and to deliver advertising that may be relevant to you. 


Disclosure for Legal Purposes. We may disclose the information we collect if required to do so by law or if we, in good faith, believe that disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation or respond to a government request; (ii) protect and defend our rights or property; (iii) investigate fraud; (iv) act in emergency situations to protect your personal safety or the safety of the public; or (v) protect against legal liability.


Anonymized and/or Aggregate Data. We may share anonymized and/or aggregated data with third parties. This may include, for example, general information about product purchases. When we share anonymized and/or aggregate data, it will not contain any specific data about you, or that can be reasonably linked to you.


Business Transfers. We may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of our assets, including the information we collect, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy. If we transfer data under these circumstances, this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to your information.


How We Protect Your Information


Safeguarding the information we collect is an important priority for Wise Life Solutions. We use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the information we collect and maintain. Please be aware, however, that no information security program can provide absolute assurance. As a result, we cannot guarantee that we will prevent every unauthorized attempt to access, use, or disclose your information.

Our mobile app and website may contain links to websites, apps, or other services that we do not manage or control. We are not responsible for the content on those websites and apps, or their privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and practices of such websites and apps. 


Children’s Information


We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.


Your California Privacy Rights 


If you reside in California, you have the right to ask us one time each year whether we have shared personal information with third-parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send us an email at support@wiselifesolutions.com. Indicate in your email that you are a California resident making a “Shine the Light” inquiry.


Changes to This Privacy Policy


We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time, and encourage you to periodically review this policy for any such changes. We will notify you of any material changes regarding how we use information we already have collected about you.
